Q: Why are we different? A: As a Nuclear Medicine Technology student, Roxanne trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital for one year of advanced topics and clinical training. We paved the way. We wrote the first curriculum with standards for training that mirror the standards for paramedical training programs, utilizing a clinical rotation. |
Roxanne feels a live clinical rotation is the best way to prepare our students and our course is set up that way. The courses includes- Lectures on all basic topics in paramedical level permanent cosmetics, setting up a practice and marketing. Hands on labs to practice stroking technique and equipment operation. 30 hours of live clinical rotation in the Lasting Effects TM Permanent Cosmetic "Model Clinic" with your school models. Here you can work on models, perform sterilzation, office procedures, case history and aftercare. When you graduate from the Lasting Effects TM Permanent Cosmetic Institute you will have worked in the clinic and repeatedly performed your normal daily duties, and complete permanent cosmetics on models. You will be well prepared to leave the course and go to work! Q: Are there any other training programs like this on the East Coast/ Maryland ? A: No. All higher education schools are approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission or your state commission before accepting students. This protects you, the student; from unexperienced instructors or poor quality courses. The approval process is rigorus, requiring documentation of experience, an independent cirriculum review, & a board hearing of all schools. |
