Permanent Cosmetic Technician: The Basic Course 90 Clock hours All Sessions are Part-times Learn how to apply our "Natural Look" Permanent Cosmetics. These can be made lighter or darker depending on the clint's wishes, but they always look NATURAL! The basic course covers: Eyebrows- single stroke, hair like eyebrows
Eyeliner- Smooth stroked , velvet eyeliners Lipliner- Regular & wide-band , natural lipliners |
Advanced : Permanent Scar Cover-up Restoration Techniques Breast Reconstruction (post mastectomy) Their are many different types of scar cover-up and restoration techniques you can add to basic permanent cosmetics. Q: Why must I take the Permanent Cosmetic Technolgy Course before taking these seminars? A. This develops the comprehensive training and skills you will rely on. You will need to use all the cosmetic techniques in combination with the scar cover-up for restoration procedures. |
Roxanne is the owner & instructor at the Only Maryland State Approved School for Permanent
Cosmetics. She also trains advanced classes in breast areola reconstruction,
scar cover-up, plastic surgery scar matching, etc. Background Education & Training: Roxanne has an allied health background with an A.A. degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, from Essex CC which included a 40 hr per week, one year clinical rotation at Johns Hopkins Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department. Her clinical rotation included courses in Nuclear Physics, Radiation Protection, Nuclear Instrumentation , Nuclear Pharmaceuticals and performing clinical Nuclear Medicine procedures such as bone scans., heart scans, etc. Work History: After graduation she worked for six years at local hospitals, and another 10 years part-time. Establishing Lasting Effects TM :Roxanne opened in 1985, first offering electrolysis, then in 1991 permanent cosmetics. Founder of Organizations: Roxanne founded both PC-MEDS (1999) and the Permatasia Convention (2001). School Founding; 2004- Roxanne has been involved in allied health and art, and drew on this background to develop the LEPC Institute and lead it into approval by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Legislation; Roxanne recommended to the Virginia Cosmetology Board that they establih a new license for Permanent Cosmetic Technicians & wrote the suggested new state law, with seven points- all of which were adopted by Virginia. Q: Are there any other training programs in Maryland ? A: No. All schools and training programs must be approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission before accepting students. This protects you, the student; from unexperienced instructors or poor quality courses. The approval process is rigorus, requiring documentation of at least 5 yrs experience, an independent cirriculum review, & a board hearing of all schools. |
